Nike has unveiled Barcelona’s away kit for the 2018/2019 season, bringing back the striking fluorescent yellow that defined a memorable era at the Camp Nou. The design draws directly from the 2005/2006 campaign, when Ronaldinho’s brilliance led the Blaugrana to glory and left fans spellbound.
Design Inspiration
The away jersey marks the twentieth Barcelona shirt to feature the Nike logo on the chest. Its fluorescent yellow base is complemented by blue detailing on the collar and on both the Nike and Rakuten logos. The colourway pays homage to one of the club’s most significant seasons, evoking the joy and flair of Ronaldinho’s vintage.
Kit Details
On the sleeves, two Blaugrana stripes appear as brushstrokes, adding an artistic touch to the design. The left sleeve carries the second sponsor, Beko, positioned in the same style seen on the home kit launch.
The back of the neck features the Catalan flag on the elasticated section of the Vapor Kit, identical to the home jersey.
Shorts and Socks
Fluorescent yellow extends to the shorts and socks, with blue detailing applied to both pieces to maintain a cohesive look throughout the away strip.
