A Shared Manchester Heritage
For over 20 years, “This Is The One” has played before kick-off at Old Trafford, becoming a ritual that signals belief and unity. The new collection draws directly from The Stone Roses’ visual world, translating it through the adidas Originals lens. Lemon iconography, nods to John Squire’s “I Wanna Be Adored” artwork, and subtle references weave through the range, respecting the past while staying contemporary.
Speaking on the drop, adidas Design Director Inigo Turner summed it up with “The Stone Roses and Manchester United represent two global movements born in Manchester that went on to shape youth culture far beyond the city. This collection honours that shared history—blending iconic artwork, football heritage and adidas Originals style in a way that feels authentic and deeply rooted in Manchester’s identity.”

Jersey and Apparel Details
Front and centre is the Man U x Stone Roses jersey. The all-over graphic pulls from the band’s iconic artwork, wrapped around a clean, slim silhouette with a V-neck finish. Crafted in jacquard fabric, it is built for everyday wear. A long-sleeve version pushes further as a collector-level crossover between football shirt and cultural artefact, finished with retro Trefoil branding.
Beyond the jerseys, the collection leans heavily into terrace culture. The Manchester United Stone Roses track top and pants rework classic Three Stripe shapes with bold prints and heritage detailing. The jacket brings engineered jacquard fabric and subtle lemon hits into a refined, street-ready layer.
Footwear and Accessories
A black ZX 600 alongside two Tobacco silhouettes enter the range, all featuring suede uppers and gum rubber outsoles for a timeless look. Accessories including a scarf and bucket hat complete the looks.
