adidas have officially unveiled the new South Africa home shirt for both the men’s and women’s national teams. This marks the first release since the return of the partnership between the German sportswear brand and the South African Football Association.
Design Inspired by 2010
The new kit draws heavily from the iconic yellow jersey that South Africa wore during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. That electric yellow colourway, paired with green trimmings, is unmistakable. The design is described as a modern upgrade that balances nostalgia with a contemporary feel.

Details That Tell a Story
The collar features subtle graphic storytelling that weaves all 12 official languages of South Africa into the fabric. This evolves the concept from the 2010 shirt, which previously nodded to 11 languages. The message is that the jersey belongs to everyone.

One Crest, One Standard for Both Teams
Banyana Banyana receive a bespoke fit built specifically for the women’s game. The women’s team will debut the kit at the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco. The approach reinforces the idea of one crest and one standard for both the men’s and women’s sides.
Performance Technology
The shirt is engineered with CLIMACOOL+ technology, 3D body-mapped ventilation, and perforated Three Stripes. It is designed to perform in all climates and conditions.

A Long-Awaited Return
The partnership between adidas and South African football is described as long overdue. This release is seen as just the beginning of a renewed collaboration.
