adidas has launched its first main boot pack of 2026, titled “Born for Goals”. The pack pits the Predator against the F50 in a choice between control and chaos, while also introducing the new COPA Pure IV. The campaign echoes the ACE vs X theme from 2015, urging players to pick a side.
The Pack Overview
According to adidas, 2026 is decision time: Predator or F50 – take control or cause chaos. Two ways to change the game. The “Born for Goals” pack also includes the COPA Pure IV, which arrives alongside the updated Predator and the F50.

Predator 26 – Control Redefined
The Predator appears in a “Lucid Red/Core Black/Ftwr White” colourway, closely resembling the earlier ‘Unlocked’ edition and the ‘Pure Victory’ launch from last year. This is the first wide release of the latest Predator incarnation, which debuted in Gunmetal Grey for ‘Finishers Steel’ before Christmas.

Engineered from the ground up with a lightweight construction, the Predator 26 focuses on the demands of the modern game. Key features include:
- POWERSPINE: a lightweight, full-length plate through the sole.
- NANOSTRIKE+: a reimagined mesh upper that blends softness, lightness, and integrated grip elements. It contours naturally to the foot for control, touch, and striking precision.
- PRIMEKNIT collar: adaptive lockdown with breathable mesh and microfiber lining for midfoot comfort.
- STRIKEFRAME soleplate: updated stud configuration for traction and rotational agility.

F50 – Chaos at Speed
Designed for the highest speeds and unpredictable movements, the F50 arrives in a “Team Solar Yellow/Core Black/Lucid Red” colourway. No tech updates from last year: it retains the Sprintframe 360 soleplate, thin Fibertouch upper, and Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue.
The F50 stands out through its fit options, particularly the women-focused Sparkfusion model.
F50 Sparkfusion
The Sparkfusion receives its own “Ftwr White/Iron Met/Hi-Res Yellow” colourway, slightly differentiated from the regular F50. The inverted colour formation highlights that this is a separate fit option.

COPA Pure IV – Refined Comfort
Rounding out the pack is the new COPA Pure IV. This iteration focuses on subtle improvements rather than wholesale changes. It uses the same soleplate as before, but features:
- A wider tongue that wraps around the foot to enhance comfort.
- A refined upper with new contour lines for better ball feel.
The boot comes in a “Zero Met/Core Black/Lucid Red” colourway that matches the pack’s aesthetic.
