Sam Handy, adidas Vice President of Product Creative, has offered a first look at an exclusive F50 Spider x Kith Friends & Family edition. The release follows the official reveal of the wider adidas x Kith collection and signals a possible return for the iconic 2004 silhouette.

The Return of an Iconic Silhouette

Rumours of a reissue for the original F50+ “Spider” have been circulating for some time. Handy’s social media post provides the strongest confirmation yet, showing a limited edition boot developed under the adidas x Kith partnership. The design retains the unmistakable spider-web graphic that made the original a cult favourite in 2004.

Premium Details and Heritage-Inspired Aesthetic

The upper is finished in a dark brown tone, while the spider-web pattern is printed in a matching shade. A snakeskin-patterned lace cover adds a luxurious touch, and chrome-like bronze detailing runs across the heel counter. Dual adidas and Kith branding cements the collaboration. The overall look channels the heritage of the 2004 F50+ while elevating it with refined materials.

Modern Performance with Sprintframe 360 Outsole

As with recent adidas remakes, the F&F edition upgrades the original design by using the modern Sprintframe 360 outsole. This keeps the retro football energy intact while introducing contemporary performance technology for improved traction and stability.

Earlier this year, adidas x Kith released two Predator Mania editions as part of the “Made in Germany” line. However, this F50 Spider variant occupies a more exclusive tier.
