Adidas continues its 20-year anniversary celebration of the F50 Tunit by reviving another original colourway from the archive. An electric yellow finish takes centre stage on one of the most recognisable boot silos of the 2000s, ensuring a bold presence on the pitch.
The Return of a 2000s Icon
The F50 Tunit revival has gathered momentum throughout 2025 and 2026, delivering waves of nostalgia for fans of 00s football culture. Earlier releases included a Lionel Messi special edition, collaborative experiments with Slam Jam, and Y‑3 bringing back its iconic Beast Mode set for a modern audience. Now, the latest drop draws directly from the archive: the “Lucid Lemon / Team Royal Blue / Lucid Aquamarine” colourway.

F50.6 Tunit: The Modular Legacy
For those who may have missed the original release – perhaps because they were too young – the F50.6 Tunit achieved cult-classic status. Worn at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, it remains a highly respected boot in collector circles. The Tunit system represented adidas at its most ambitious: a modular design that allowed players to swap removable studs, chassis, and uppers according to pitch conditions and personal preference. Launched in 2006, the concept was a bold vision of customisable performance footwear, even though the modular approach was eventually phased out.

2026 Remake Design Details
The adidas F50.6 Tunit 2026 Remake stays true to its roots. The reboot faithfully recreates the original silhouette and adopts one of the six launch colourways, led by a vivid electric yellow base that remains as striking today as it did two decades ago. A bold yellow tongue sharpens the streamlined profile, while contrasting blue accents add bite and balance. The iconic F50 logo appears in blue on the lateral side, mirrored by an adidas mark in the same finish on the heel – small details that reinforce the boot’s heritage. Underfoot, the soleplate combines a yellow foundation with energised blue detailing for a cohesive look from top to bottom.
From 8 April onwards, the boot will be worn on pitch by a stacked roster of elite talent, including Nuno Mendes, Luis Díaz, João Pedro, Moise Kean, Federico Dimarco, Brahim Díaz, Victor Osimhen, and Rayan Cherki.
