This unexpected three-way partnership blends iconic football heritage with pop culture and streetwear, resulting in a collection that reworks the classic adidas Predator silhouette with Mickey Mouse detailing and ’90s-inspired kits.
The Collaboration That Crosses Worlds
What happens when adidas Originals, LA-based streetwear brand Brain Dead, and Disney come together? A collection that merges performance soccer history with animated nostalgia. Following a football-inspired capsule in December 2025, Brain Dead returns with adidas Originals—this time bringing Mickey Mouse into the mix. The result is a street-ready take on the very first adidas Predator from 1994.

The Centerpiece: Street-Ready Predator
The key item is a lifestyle version of the 1994 adidas Predator. Instead of traditional studs, it features a chunky rubber outsole designed for everyday wear, while the upper retains the original’s ribbed, rubberized look that made the boot so iconic.

Customizable Details
Two removable foldover tongues allow you to switch between faux crocodile leather and patent leather. The patent option is perforated so you can pin in a set of six vintage-style Disney character badges, adding a layer of playful customization.

’90s-Inspired Kits
Beyond the footwear, the collection includes three full co-branded kits (jersey, shorts, and socks). Colorways draw from international tournament memories: yellow with green and black, white with green and red, and blue with white and red.

Kit Details
Each kit is packed with features: flock-printed Disney characters on the sleeves, a Disney logo on the chest, a Brain Dead logo tucked into the neckline, and an all-over Mickey print that ties the design together without overwhelming it.

A Surprisingly Cohesive Blend
On paper, mixing performance football heritage, offbeat LA streetwear, and the world’s most recognizable cartoon character might seem unlikely. In practice, the collection lands as playful yet substantial, nostalgic without being dated, and weird in a way that invites you to wear it.

Release Information
The adidas Originals x Brain Dead by Disney collection arrives in limited quantities on 29 June.
