Design Philosophy

According to Juergen Rank, Senior Design Director at adidas, the World Cup serves as a platform for showcasing signature products and innovations. The new away kits aim to honour classic designs while integrating the latest advancements in fabric and construction. The result is a balance between authenticity and progression.

Germany

Germany’s away kit revisits the iconic green jersey from the 1990 World Cup semi‑final against England. The front graphic echoes the pattern found on the German home shirt, while the collar uses a two‑fabric component that incorporates the graphic and the “DIE MANNSCHAFT” wording on the back.

Russia

Host nation Russia draws inspiration from its street soccer culture. The white shirt features a grey graphic that presents an abstract vision of Russian architecture, paying tribute to the country’s industrial cities and architectural landmarks.

Argentina
