adidas X506 TUNiT Remake Ready For Release

The adidas X506+ is set to arrive as a remake of the original adidas f50.6 TUNiT, the boot famously worn by Lionel Messi during the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Recent teasers hinted at its return, and the brand has now confirmed a limited collection release.

What Is the Adidas X506 TUNiT Remake?

The new X506+ draws directly from the 2006 f50.6 silhouette, bringing back its distinctive look for a modern audience. Unlike the original, this version does not include the TUNiT interchangeable stud or skin system. Instead, it offers the boot as a standalone design.

Design and Features

The remake retains the signature tongue cover from the original model. However, it now allows full removal of the cover down to the bottom lace eyelet. A Velcro system enables refastening the cover over the lacing system. The insole features an X speed reference, reinforcing the boot’s heritage.

Limited Release

This collection is a limited edition release. Additional details about the launch are expected soon. For now, an unboxing video on Instagram gives a closer look at the boots.
