Ajax and adidas Team Up with ID&T for Pre-Match Collection

Ajax and adidas have joined forces with ID&T, Amsterdam’s electronic music powerhouse, to release a pre-match collection that fuses football and rave culture. The drop marks the fifth and final edition of the club’s 750-year anniversary celebrations, paying tribute to the city’s golden ’90s energy.

The Collaboration

The partnership brings together two defining sides of Amsterdam: Ajax, the club that ruled Europe in the 1990s, and ID&T, the event organizer that owned the city’s nightlife during the same era. The collection is designed to honor the fans, the sound, and the spirit that keeps Amsterdam moving.

The Collection

The pre-match collection includes a pre-match jersey, a reversible jacket, and track pants. All pieces feature a blue and orange thermal print design that draws inspiration from the 1990s dance era. The look is described as equally at home on the pitch as on the dance floor, blending the rhythm of rave culture with the atmosphere of the stands.

The Launch

The reversible jacket made its debut before Ajax’s fixture against AZ, presented during a show created by ID&T founder Duncan Stutterheim together with the club and the fans. The event featured lights, sound, and fire, capturing the energy of Amsterdam in full flow.
