The 2025/26 away shirt for AS Monaco, created by Mizuno, draws on the calm and aesthetics of the Principality’s Japanese Garden. The design merges cultural symbolism with modern football kit traditions.
Garden-Inspired Pattern and Palette
The front of the jersey features a subtle pattern that mirrors the raked sand and circular shapes seen in Zen gardens. This visual motif reflects both mindfulness and the structured nature of football. The colour scheme is dominated by a deep blue, a shade strongly associated with Japan’s national teams and Mizuno’s heritage. For Monaco, this blue represents a new direction but remains connected to the club’s growing international identity.

Gold Highlights and Club Emblems
Gold details appear on the V-neck collar and sleeve ends, adding a refined contrast. The club crest and Mizuno’s Runbird logo are also finished in gold, marking a first for a Monaco kit. Under the collar, the phrase “Daghe Munegu” is printed in gold — a long-standing motto that grounds the shirt in club history.

Campaign Concept and Match Debut
The launch campaign was shot in Monaco’s Japanese Garden, embracing the principle of “MA” — balance and space. Players are shown in calm, strong poses that echo the shirt’s design philosophy. The kit will be worn for the first time during a pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest at Chesterfield’s SMH Group Stadium this Saturday.
