The Boca Juniors shirt is one of the most recognisable football kits worldwide, seen across every continent. For the 2023-24 season, adidas has created a new jersey under the motto “Boca, Pueblo, Mundo” – reflecting the global reach and enduring legacy of the xeneize shirt.
Design Inspiration
The design draws once again from the La Boca neighbourhood. Various textured blue patterns represent the different painted facades found throughout the district. The colourful fronts of the houses are directly echoed on the shirt.
Classic Colours and Updated Collar
The jersey keeps the iconic colours: a blue base with a yellow stripe, slightly wider than in previous generations. The collar has also been redesigned – a more fitted cut with a central slit for comfort. On the back of the collar, the word “xeneize” is embroidered.
