The Danish capital’s skyline takes centre stage as F.C. Copenhagen and adidas release their third kit for the 2025/26 season. The design blends football tradition with urban aesthetics, drawing on the city’s bridges, monuments and patinated surfaces.
Design Rooted in Copenhagen’s Architecture
Since extending their partnership last year, the club and the sportswear brand have produced a series of jersey concepts, each exploring a different element of the club’s character. For this third kit, the creative direction shifted outward, using the city itself as the primary reference. The shirt reflects Copenhagen’s architectural flourishes, from its famous bridges to the distinctive roofscapes.


Subtle Copper-Green Palette and Textured Finish
The visual identity of the jersey centres on a muted blend of washed-out copper and green tones. These colours echo the oxidised roofs and aged metal surfaces that characterise the city’s historic buildings. A discreet textured print runs across the fabric, simulating the way light plays on weathered copper—a quiet tribute to Copenhagen’s enduring landmarks.


According to the club’s commercial director, the design team explored every corner of Copenhagen for inspiration. The result is a jersey that highlights the capital’s iconic features in a surprising, playful way—one that reinforces the deep connection between the team and its home city.


Minimalist Detailing with Deep Teal Accents
The kit’s finishing touches keep the overall look clean and contemporary. The club crest and adidas three-stripes appear in a contrasting deep teal, adding visual depth without distracting from the main colour story. The collar and sleeve hems are understated, allowing the copper-green palette and the textured pattern to remain the focal points.


Campaign Imagery Brings the City to Life
For the launch campaign, players and models are photographed moving through cobbled streets, historic squares and rooftop terraces. The imagery merges urban sophistication with sporting energy. Even scenes set inside a minimal hotel interior capture the elegance of Copenhagen and the club’s unmistakable bond with the city.
