For the first time in over 25 years, the Nike Swoosh is replaced on a Barcelona jersey. The 2025/26 away kit features the iconic Kobe Sheath logo, marking a historic fusion of basketball legend Kobe Bryant’s relentless spirit with the Catalan club’s football identity. The design debuts on 31 July during Barcelona’s Asian preseason tour.
The Design Inspired by the Black Mamba
The kit arrives in Team Gold, a color that echoes some of Kobe Bryant’s most memorable on-court moments, accented with Persian Violet and black. The crest and Sheath logo are finished with a 3D snakeskin texture, a tactile homage to Bryant’s “Black Mamba” nickname. Black shorts carry a snakeskin-patterned texture with violet details, while the socks feature the Kobe Sheath on the shin and “Barça” on the calf.
