New Balance and FC Porto have unveiled the away kit for the 2020/21 season, featuring a deep blue minimalist design that has already captured the attention of supporters. The jersey carries the rallying cry “Azul, nossa cor” (Blue, our colour) and marks a simple yet striking departure for the Portuguese club.
Design and Slogan
Under the slogan “AZUL, nossa cor”, FC Porto presented a jersey that stands out through its clean, effective design. The American brand New Balance aimed for a minimalist look, with a deeper, more intense shade of blue dominating the entire shirt.
Blue takes centre stage across the kit, while the remaining details – aside from a few corporate elements in orange on the sleeves, such as the crest and sponsor logo – appear in white.
Special Interior Patch
Like the home kit, this away jersey includes a patch on the inside, positioned near the crest and close to the heart. The patch bears the words “Nação Porto”, forming part of the motto that will accompany the blue-and-white team throughout the season.
On-Pitch Debut
Fans will see the new away kit in action on 9 July, when FC Porto face Tondela in a Liga NOS fixture.
