Flamengo and adidas Reveal 2025/26 Third Kit Inspired by Club’s Rowing Origins

Flamengo and adidas have launched a new third kit for the 2025/26 season, drawing directly from the club’s earliest days. The design uses a cream white base with gold accents and pays homage to the year 1895, when the club began as a rowing team on Rio de Janeiro’s bays.

The shirt features an elegant cream white base elevated by metallic gold detailing. A wave pattern runs across the fabric, referencing the motion of rowing oars. The club crest has been reimagined as the original rowing badge from Flamengo’s founding era, shown in gold with the year ‘1896’ inscribed beneath. The adidas Three Stripes appear on the shoulders in Flamengo’s red and black colours, while a modern CRF monogram sits below the collar on the back of the shirt. The adidas trefoil logo returns on the third kit, adding a retro Originals touch.

This kit reaches back to 1895, when Clube de Regatas do Flamengo was founded—not as a football club, but as a rowing team. The design honours that origin with a look that blends prestige and timelessness.
