Nike has released a first signature Superfly for Jadon Sancho, celebrating the Borussia Dortmund star’s outstanding form and his roots in Kennington, South East London. The SE11 Sancho Collection includes a limited‑edition Mercurial boot, jersey, T‑shirt and tracksuit, all designed to reflect Sancho’s unabashed love of football and the culture of London’s housing estates.
The SE11 Collection
The collection takes its name from Kennington’s postcode, SE11. Graphics on the boot feature words and phrases that define Sancho’s playing style, such as “MEGZ” (a reference to a nutmeg), “Vibez” and “Sancho Sauce.” The lace area is inscribed with “Blue Park,” and the tongue carries “#SE11 4 J@DON,” highlighting Sancho’s deep connection to his home neighbourhood.
Design Details Honoring Kennington
Inside the boot, the medial side reads “NO BALL GAMES,” a familiar sign seen around London’s housing estates – one that Sancho and his friends often ignored. “We played anywhere and everywhere, that’s just the culture in London,” Sancho says. “All you needed was a football. You’d always have the one guy with a wonky foot that’d break windows and get us all in trouble.” Every element of the design pays tribute to the local football cages and streets where Sancho honed his skills.
Sancho’s Message to London Ballers
“This isn’t just for me, it’s for all the ballers across London who were told they’d never make it,” Sancho adds. “Every time I step out onto the pitch, I represent them all. It’s a privilege to have the kids of London on my back and release a collection that they all can relate to.” The SE11 collection is a limited‑edition release, celebrating Sancho’s journey from Kennington to the top level of European football.
