Adidas has revealed the first signature logo for Lamine Yamal, a personal emblem that merges the teenager’s identity, his upbringing, and the flair of his playing style into a single design.
Co-created with Yamal himself, the new logo is rich with meaning. His initials are intertwined with “304” — the area code of Rocafonda, the neighbourhood where he grew up. The silhouette evokes his trademark left foot, always connected to the ball, while the tall block structures of Barcelona rise within the logo, anchoring it in the city that continues to watch his ascent.
The Creative Process Behind the Logo
To celebrate the launch, Adidas released a short film that offers a look into Yamal’s design journey. The video documents the evolution from sketchbook experiments — refining initials, testing shapes, and jotting down ideas — to a polished digital final product. Animated sequences layer each element step by step, highlighting how personal the process has been for the 17-year-old.
Speaking about the project, Yamal said: “This logo means a lot to me because it brings together who I am, where I come from, and how I play. To see my story represented with adidas in this way is really special.”
