Unlike the Indonesian-made version, the quality of the leather is strikingly apparent in its feel and how quickly the boot moulds to the foot. The forefoot features one of the finest kangaroo leathers available, covering the entire striking area for perfect touch and comfort, with a lightness rarely seen in boots using these materials. This thin leather layer makes the Morelia Neo III β Elite a speed-oriented football boot, much lighter than the traditional Made-in-Japan version. Stitching runs across the area to prevent excessive leather stretching and loss of shape.
A new feature is the β Knit in the instep and heel areas, a yarn that blends seamlessly with the leather and secures the foot within the boot for precise movements. This is integrated with the lightweight β Mesh starting from the midfoot. The boot combines advanced materials with top-tier performance and ultra-lightweight construction, delivering a soft touch on the ball.
The sole features a classic Pebax plate with a traditional lug pattern: 13 rounded studs, except for a central laminated stud designed to aid running. The studs are firm and offer a lightweight boot with traditional support without sacrificing traction. Flex zones ensure the boot bends where intended. Two reinforcement rivets on the toe cap help prevent detachment, a common issue for players switching between natural and artificial grass. The external heel counter is notable for its design: a “buttress” made from two densities of Pebax—a thinner, softer material at the top and a stiffer, high-density material below—providing exceptional support when running.
