New Balance has unveiled its Otruska Pack, a limited-edition collection inspired by Russia and designed for the upcoming Summer World Cup. The pack introduces the brand’s new Tekela silo alongside an upgraded Furon 4.0, both finished in a White colorway with Flame Red detailing. The design draws inspiration from the mythical two-headed hell hound Orthrus, representing dual forms of attack: ferocity and deception.
Tekela 1.0: A New Silo for Creative Playmakers
The Tekela 1.0 is the standout debut in the pack. New Balance markets it as a boot “for the innovators who use speed and maneuverability to change the outcome of games.” The upper features a full-foot microfiber with dynamic kinetic stitch embroidered bands, designed to deliver exceptional stability, feel, and touch for fearless attacking play.
The outsole is engineered for agility, using a TPU with an inlayed nylon chassis and conical studs that provide 360-degree rotational traction. It is finished with an Electro chrome plated outsole in Flame Red.
Furon 4.0: Upgraded Finishing for Ruthless Attackers
The fourth-generation Furon is built for speed, acceleration, and accuracy, targeting attackers who finish without mercy. It incorporates FantomFit technology and a Hidraskin touch membrane, along with an enlarged CleanLace contact zone for a precise strike in front of goal.
The outsole is engineered for acceleration, featuring a TPU with an inlayed nylon chassis for increased stiffness and directional toe-off texture. Like the Tekela, it is finished with an Electro chrome plated outsole in Flame Red.
Lifestyle Complements: 574 Sport and Fresh Foam Cruz Sport
The Otruska Pack also includes two lifestyle shoes: the 574 Sport and the Fresh Foam Cruz Sport. Both are offered in a striking White with Flame Red detailing, completing the collection’s unified aesthetic.

The Otruska Pack is produced in limited quantities. Both the Tekela and Furon 4.0 will be worn by New Balance professional players during the World Cup tournament this summer.
