Reusch’s arrow design was a hallmark of the brand until it was retired at the 2002 World Cup to make way for new backhand technology. The backhand uses a seamless neoprene cuff, called Free Flex, designed for natural hand movement. An asymmetrical wristband features an extended palm section made from durable latex, providing additional protection against turf abrasion.
Palm: Reusch G3 Foam
At the heart of the glove is the G3 palm, a soft latex foam intended for natural grass surfaces. This palm replaced the earlier G2 on Reusch’s professional models and is known for its high grip and softness.
Cut and Fit: Evolution Negative Cut ESS
The Pure Contact Arrow G3 uses a seamless negative cut with rollfinger influence. Reusch calls this the Evolution Negative Cut ESS – it wraps the fingertips like a rollfinger and joins the back of the hand with a negative cut for an extremely snug, second-skin feel. The glove is finished with a new asymmetrical Slip-On Cuff that includes an integrated strap for secure support.
