For the first time in a decade, Nike has released a football boot collection consisting of just three ranges. Named the Nike Football DayBreak Pack, the lineup introduces the all-new Phantom GT as its flagship model, alongside the Mercurial (Superfly and Vapor) and the Tiempo.
A Summer Colour Refresh for Three Silhouettes
While the pack brings no major technological leaps aside from the Phantom GT, the vibrant colour schemes add energy to the season. The Mercurial Superfly VII, Vapor XIII, and Tiempo Legend VIII each receive updated designs.
Mercurial DayBreak: Lightning‑Bolt Swoosh and Laser Orange
The Mercurial range receives a bold new look highlighted by an updated lightning‑bolt‑shaped Swoosh. This design element first appeared on the Neighbourhood Pack and later on the Euro Tour collection of trainers. The colourway, Laser Orange / Black / White, is exclusive to the DayBreak Pack and is applied to both the Superfly VII and Vapor XIII.
Phantom GT DayBreak: Generative Texture Technology Debuts
The Phantom GT is an entirely new range that replaces both the Phantom VSN and VNM, combining their best attributes into one boot. Its key innovation is Generative Texture (GT) on the upper, which improves ball contact and control while running. The design also stands apart from the other ranges with a fresh aesthetic.
Tiempo DayBreak: Blue Blocks and a Classic Touch
Nike’s classic control‑and‑comfort boot receives a more distinctive, traditional look. Large blue blocks dominate the rear of the boot, while the Swoosh, laces, inner tongue, and a section of the sock feature a contrasting colour. The result is a design that feels both classic and contemporary.
