Nike has brought its easy-entry FlyEase system to the latest Phantom GT2 Academy silo, offering an alternative for players who need a more accessible way to secure their boots without sacrificing fit or performance.
What Is Nike FlyEase?
FlyEase is an easy-entry footwear system designed by Nike to help athletes put on and secure their shoes with zero compromise to fit and performance. Since its debut, FlyEase technologies have been used in more than 20 footwear styles across basketball, running, and sportswear. The system has previously appeared on several different Phantom silos.
How the FlyEase Strap System Works
The wrap-around strap closure is attached to strings that run through the lacing system. When the strap is closed, these strings tighten around the forefoot to create a secure fit. The tighter the strap is pulled, the tighter the fit becomes. A series of Velcro closures ensure that once the strap is positioned, it will not loosen during play. According to experience with the boots, the fit remains consistent throughout use.
