Nike continues its 25th anniversary celebration of the iconic Mercurial silo with an extended pack that honors the legendary speed-focused line. The collection includes the Superfly XXV and Vapor XXV models, both sharing the same design details as the limited edition release that sold out within an hour of launch.
Extended Mercurial XXV Pack Details
The Mercurial is the second longest standing silo in Nike’s lineup, trailing only the Tiempo. To mark the milestone, Nike initially launched a limited edition Air Zoom Mercurial XXV, restricted to 2,500 pairs worldwide and quickly sold out. The new pack expands the celebration with a more widely available offering, drawing direct inspiration from that exclusive release.
Both the Vapor XV and Superfly IX feature the same silver hues as the limited edition version. A special graphic of historical Mercurial logos is spread across the upper, paying homage to the different eras since 1998. The Roman numeral “XXV” appears on the medial side, referencing the 25-year legacy.
Colorway and Accent Differences
The collar and tongue area are black on both models. The Vapor and Superfly differ in their accent colors: the Vapor features volt accents, while the Superfly uses pink. These pops of color appear on the Swoosh branding and soleplate, giving each model a distinct identity while maintaining the unified anniversary theme.
