Now, it has made its grand entrance into football with the launch of the new Nike Phantom GT Academy football boots, the latest crown jewels of Nike Football.
The most obvious feature of FlyEase technology is its ability to offer users a great solution for opening and closing football boots, ensuring a secure fit using just one hand or even none. While many football boots already use zip fastenings or Velcro systems with small straps, nothing compares to what Nike has achieved with these Phantom GT Academy boots.
Some football boots are extremely difficult to put on and take off. However, this revolutionary system provides a much simpler option, specifically designed for people with disabilities. It embodies the slogan: Football For All.

The Nike Phantom GT Academy FlyEase features a distinctive lacing system. At the back of the boot, a foldable panel acts as a heel counter. This panel connects to the heel via FLYWIRE cables, ensuring a perfect fit. The initial motion of slipping the foot into the boot feels like putting on a favourite pair of slippers. The same counterforce is adjusted and secured through a lightweight, wraparound strap at the top of the boot, which uses Flywire cables to maintain the right tension during any movement.
