Nike is set to kick off 2023 with a fresh lineup of colorways for the Phantom GX series. After the initial Hyper Pink release sold out within a day, the brand is preparing to launch versions in Laser Orange and Solar Blue. These new options offer players contrasting colors on opposite ends of the spectrum, available in both Pro and Elite levels for different on-pitch performance needs. Upcoming Colorways: Laser Orange and Solar Blue
The Laser Orange and Solar Blue editions will be released in Pro and Elite specifications, each tailored to different playing styles. The Hyper Pink variant, which debuted as an introductory colorway, is no longer available.
Nike Gripknit Technology
The Phantom GX boot introduces Nike Gripknit, a new exclusive yarn coated with TPU. When melted to the optimal temperature, it forms a grippy, flexible, and durable material that evolves Nike Flyknit. The upper package, inspired by a fingerprint, delivers grip, flexibility, and tackiness for sharp ball control.
New Stud Pattern for Agility
Underfoot, a versatile stud pattern enhances traction and responsiveness during quick cuts. The agility plate features 13 studs, five of which are Tri-star studs, giving the Phantom GX the highest stud variation in Nike’s boot lineup. This design optimizes multidirectional movement, helping athletes separate from opponents during gameplay.
