Inspired by a classic look from the 2008 European Championships, Nike has unveiled a special edition colorway for the Premier 2.0 series. This release brings back the unmistakable style worn by Nike players over a decade ago, now available on an affordable and highly regarded leather boot.
Design Inspiration from the 2008 EC08 Pack
The colorway originally appeared on the Mercurial Vapor IV, Tiempo Legend II, and T90 Laser II during the 2008 European Championships. Players responded positively to the distinctive look, which has now been revived for the Premier 2.0.
Upper and Soleplate Details
The boot features a Velvet Brown Kangaroo leather upper, giving it a unique visual identity. Underfoot, the simplistic and flexible soleplate receives a signature Blue Hero paint finish that completes the retro aesthetic.
Release and Availability
This special edition Premier 2.0 “EC08” is currently a limited release. As of now, no official word has been given on whether the boots will see a direct release in the United States.
