Hand-drawn patterns symbolise Nigerian heritage with references to nobility and family. The Nigerian crest sits at centre chest, with the Swoosh beneath. Players’ names and numbers incorporate eagle feather motifs. ‘Naija’ appears inside the collar and on the socks in a new typeface. Away: Nigeria Onaism

The away kit is inspired by Onaism, a traditional artistic movement. Nigerian craftsmanship is reflected in the trim details. An eagle feather motif is repeated in ascending sizes for visual impact. The collar has a slight V-shaped overlap with a thicker back. Both collar and sleeves feature a cut at the midpoint. The design connects to dark earth tones and a seaweed green colour. Technical Features: Nike Jerseys

Science plays a key role in the design process. Nike collected data on over 300 footballers and their movements. The design team used 4D visualisation tools before creating prototypes. This helped analyse stretch, drape, and fit. Generative design produced kits that are 55% more moisture-wicking, 13% more breathable, and 10% more elastic than previous Nike kits. The precision-woven fabric is reinforced where needed and ventilated in heat-prone areas. The intricate structure does not detract from the artistic expression of national pride.
