Paris Saint-Germain have once again moved beyond the boundaries of sport with a new pre-match jersey developed alongside Emeric Tchatchoua, founder and creative director of the Parisian label 3.Paradis. The release coincides with the first edition of Art Basel Qatar and reinforces the club’s ongoing commitment to weaving football with fashion and contemporary culture.
A Jersey Born on the Runway
The shirt made its competitive debut when PSG’s men’s first team wore it during warm-ups before their 2–1 win over RC Strasbourg at the weekend. However, its first public appearance came earlier—on 21 January during Paris Fashion Week, where it was revealed as part of the 3.Paradis runway show. The timing aligns with Art Basel Qatar, which takes place in Doha from 5 to 7 February 2026.

Typography Rooted in Hip-Hop Culture
Central to the design is a reworked “Paris” wordmark. Tchatchoua introduced a custom “R” that draws directly from the visual language of Ruff Ryders, a defining force in global hip-hop. The typographic gesture reflects the designer’s signature style of blending personal heritage with broader cultural narratives.

Brand and Designer on the Collaboration
“This new collaboration with Emeric Tchatchoua is part of a long-term creative relationship with a Paris-based talent who brings art, fashion and contemporary culture into dialogue,” said Fabien Allègre, PSG’s Chief Brand Officer. “Through this shirt, Paris Saint-Germain reaffirms its ambition and cultural authenticity: making the Club a space for expression where football becomes a platform for creativity and influence, far beyond the pitch. Our Club does not appropriate culture — it respects it and collaborates with its legends.”
For Tchatchoua, the project holds personal resonance. “On this unique shirt, I reworked the ‘Paris’ typography with an ‘R’ inspired by Ruff Ryders, a cornerstone of global hip-hop culture,” he explained. “This gesture would not have been possible without Swizz Beatz, a major and inspiring creative figure. To do this through a new collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain, my club at heart and the club of my hometown, is both an honour and a great source of pride.”

Football as a Cultural Platform
The ongoing partnership between PSG and Tchatchoua dates back to February 2022. This latest jersey continues the club’s pattern of positioning itself at the crossroads of elite sport and high fashion. More than a pre-match garment, the shirt is designed to function as a cultural statement—one intended to be seen, discussed and remembered long after the final whistle.
