Puma has unveiled its Eclipse Pack, giving two of the brand’s current models a black finish. The single-colour scheme offers a classic, elegant look that stands apart from the flashy, brightly coloured boots dominating recent trends. This pack appeals to fans of understated designs and especially to those who prefer all-black football boots.
The Eclipse Pack features both of Puma’s current silos: the speed-focused Ultra and the explosive Future Z. While the pack is unlikely to be widely worn on the pitch by sponsored players such as Griezmann or Neymar, it delivers a refined aesthetic for those who appreciate a monochrome look.

PUMA FUTURE Z
The Puma Future is Neymar’s current football boot and represents a generational shift with major changes compared to earlier models. The upper is constructed from Evoknit Pro, a lightweight and stretchy knit. In the instep area, a new technology called FuzionFit+ is a compression band designed to lock and stabilise the foot inside the boot, reducing the likelihood of injury – a response to the ankle issues Neymar has faced in recent years. The boot also features Grip Control Pro, an ultra-thin layer of gel that enhances grip in rain, snow, or wind. Finally, the revolutionary Z-shaped sole provides additional lightness.
The all-black version gives the boot a more aggressive and elegant appearance compared to previous colourways.
PUMA ULTRA
The Puma Ultra is the brand’s speed boot, worn by players such as France’s Griezmann and Italian legend Gigi Buffon. In this pack, the colourway is similar to the earlier Puma Game On Pack, so it is less surprising than the Future. The upper is entirely synthetic, using extremely thin and waterproof materials including Kevlar; Puma calls this area MatrixEvo Technology. Grip Control Pro is also present on this model, though it is less prominent and only incorporated in the forefoot area. The FG/AG outsole is inspired by running shoes.
