Puma Future Z “Game On Pack”
The leap from the Future 6.1 to the Future Z was driven by the arrival of Neymar at Puma. The German brand needed a boot that matched his technical ability, speed, and daring style. Inspired by the original Future range, the new model delivers a different fit, improved ball grip, and excellent stability.
For a player like Neymar—one of the most technically gifted and fastest footballers—the boot had to support aggressive dribbling and rapid directional changes. The resulting design focuses on a new fit, enhanced grip, and overall stability.
Upper
In the teaser edition released in December, the FuzionFit+ technology appeared in a vibrant fluorescent shade against a white background, making it the standout feature of the boot.
With the Game On Pack version, the fluorescent colour remains prominent, while the central midfoot band—the core of the FuzionFit+ system—adopts a darker shade. White details appear on the band and the FUTURE lettering on the inner sides.
FuzionFit+ is the key technology: it provides greater stability and support during aggressive movements, enhancing agility. A thin layer of GripControl Pro is applied to key areas of the upper, reinforcing the instep for a more precise touch and better ball control.
Sole
The outsole of the previous Future 6.1 was already effective on both natural grass and artificial turf (FG/AG). For the Future Z, Puma introduced an innovative Z-shaped outsole. This change improves stability and comfort for multi-directional movements, while also serving as a strong marketing element for the brand.
