With the World Cup only a few months away, new kits to be worn in Russia are arriving at a rapid pace. Puma has unveiled a collection of ten international jerseys unified by an all-white colourway, allowing each federation’s crest, flag, and iconography to take centre stage.
The All-White Kit Collection
The ten-pack includes shirts for Italy, Uruguay, Switzerland, Senegal, Serbia, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Ghana, Austria, and one additional nation. Each design is stripped back to focus on the elementary features of the respective federation – the badge, flag, or national symbols.
Design Philosophy
Under a single design language, Puma has created a kit story that is clean, stylish, and free of distractions. Every jersey is distilled to the unique core elements of its nation. For example, Uruguay’s shirt features nine blue lines on the neck, representing the nine original departments of the country, while the Swiss jersey incorporates the red of the national flag on the collar.
Puma Teamsport Creative Director Stefano Favaro explained: “When our federations step out onto the pitch they all play with a nation’s support, and a passion for the crest that adorns their chest. With this clean, contemporary design statement, we wanted to strip back all the noise and elements that stand between our teams, players, and crowd, to celebrate what they play for – the badge, the flag, and the fans.”
Technical Features
Each design incorporates Puma’s evoKNIT thermoregulation technology, which delivers enhanced moisture management and an adaptive cooling system to help maintain optimal on-pitch body temperature. The immaculate white design highlights the engineered evoKNIT cooling fins and seamless construction, pushing the boundaries of performance.
Teams Wearing the Kits
At this summer’s World Cup in Brazil, Switzerland, Uruguay, Senegal, and Serbia will wear their all-white kits during the tournament. All other international sides – Italy, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Ghana, Austria, and Senegal (listed again in the original release) – will debut their jerseys in international friendlies the following week.
