PUMA has released a prototype colorway of the ULTRA Ultimate after the boot’s official launch, a rare move that gives fans a glimpse into the design process. The new “razzle-dazzle” camo pattern originally served to hide or tease the silo’s details before its market debut. While the boot itself is already familiar, this unique wrap highlights the technology beneath.
Design and Concept
The Puma ULTRA Ultimate Teaser Prototype features a camouflage-style pattern intended to disguise specific features during the testing phase. Although the boot originally hit the market in August 2024, the prototype wrap was apparently not ready for release at that time. Now, it appears as a special edition, offering a fresh look at an already advanced silo.

ULTRAWEAVE Material
Following years of testing, PUMA’s proprietary ULTRAWEAVE technology has been integrated into football boots for the first time. The material is enhanced with a TPU skin for durability at minimal weight, previously used only in the brand’s apparel range. This represents the next step in the evolution of speed.
5-D PWRPRINT Support
Another first for the boot is the 5-D PWRPRINT technology, placed in strategic areas to provide micro-level reinforcement. This cross-divisional innovation delivers optimal lockdown and support while preserving the boot’s lightweight properties.
SPEEDPLATE Outsole
The ULTRA Ultimate features an all-new soleplate constructed from a dual-density SPEEDPLATE outsole. It provides next-level traction, a more explosive plate, and a more reactive toe box for added propulsion and energy transfer when accelerating.
