PUMA Unveils a Black and Gold Portugal Kit as a Tribute to Eusébio

PUMA has released a special-edition Portugal jersey in black and gold, honoring the legendary Eusébio da Silva Ferreira. The design draws directly from his iconic nickname, ‘Pantera Negra’, and celebrates sixty years since his Ballon d’Or win. The stealth look reimagines the spirit of the original PUMA King boot that was built for him.

The collection uses a stealth black base with gold accents, creating a visual phrase that echoes the fear and awe Eusébio inspired. Key details include a gold PUMA cat, a gold FPF crest, a precision knit collar and cuffs, and a subtle ‘Pantera Negra’ inscription inside the neckline. A Limited Edition Release

Only 1,965 pieces have been produced, a direct reference to the year Eusébio won the Ballon d’Or. The kit is set to be worn once by the Portugal national team in Porto on 16 November when they take on Armenia.
