Personalized Boot Design
The upper adopts the familiar red of Mané’s club, Liverpool, while gold accents on the New Balance logo add a refined touch. The same gold tone appears on the laces, which feature a repeating “Sadio Mane Player Of The Year 2019” inscription. Mané also contributed to the design of a custom emblem that sits on the heel of the boot.
Award Recognition and Performance
Mané’s 2018–19 season saw him score 32 goals across 53 appearances for Liverpool, contributing to the club’s triumphs in the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup. At the awards ceremony in Hurghada, he received 477 votes, finishing ahead of Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah (325 votes) and Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez (267 votes).
