Stade Rennais and PUMA Mark 125 Years With Special-Edition Anniversary Jersey

Stade Rennais has unveiled a commemorative shirt created in partnership with PUMA to celebrate 125 years since the Breton club’s foundation on 10 March 1901. Released as part of the anniversary campaign, the jersey honours over a century of identity, passion, and unwavering support.

On-Pitch Debut Against Lille

The anniversary shirt will be worn for the first time in competitive action when Rennes host Lille on 15 March at Roazhon Park. It forms the centrepiece of the club’s “Il était une foi” (Once upon a time) campaign, which emphasises that the club’s story is built on faith, loyalty, and the enduring bond between players and supporters across generations.

Design Rooted in Heritage

The jersey features a deep burgundy base, chosen to symbolise authenticity and the club’s enduring character. Subtle tone-on-tone graphics woven across the fabric display the names of iconic figures from Rennes’ history, presented in a hand-drawn style that pays quiet homage to those who shaped the club over the decades.

For the first time in the modern era, the original 1901 crest has been restored and placed prominently on the chest. This historic emblem connects the current squad with the club’s earliest pioneers, reinforcing a sense of living heritage passed through each generation.
