Stone Island and New Balance have unveiled their latest collaboration, led by a refreshed Furon V8 football boot and a coordinated on-pitch kit. The collection follows their first football partnership from 2022 and introduces an olive-toned, utilitarian design that blends technical performance with material experimentation.
Stone Island shared a post on Instagram previewing the drop, which was first hinted at when Dave wore the boots at the 2025 Santan Cup. The Furon V8 has already been seen on England’s Bukayo Saka, who laced up a pair during international duty in June.
Furon V8: Olive Tones and Reflective Accents
The Furon V8 is finished in a tonal olive hue across the upper and sole. A metallic silver, mirror-like coating covers half of the outsole, referencing Stone Island’s focus on surface experimentation. The Hypoknit upper is coated with a matte polyurethane film and features a subtle ripstop texture, while 3D-printed tonal logos add to the layered, technical look.
Performance-Focused Details
Functional elements include offset lacing for engineered lockdown, a Speed Ctrl Stud system to support faster pivots, and a split-finish soleplate with a matte forefoot and chrome-electroplated heel. Reflective yarns, a woven heel tab, and dual lace sets with co-branded aglets complete the boot’s construction, which reflects Stone Island’s philosophy of precision-driven design.
