The limited edition Umbro Medusae III Elite has finally reached the United States, marking the brand’s first-ever laceless boot. Released in October, this model combines laceless speed with an ultimate k-leather touch, while staying true to Umbro’s traditional design DNA.
Design and Materials
Umbro has kept the boot’s heritage intact by using a classic colorway and a super soft leather upper. The one-piece upper gives the boot a modern, streamlined look that is ready for game action. The laceless construction eliminates the need for laces while maintaining a clean, uninterrupted surface for ball contact.
Fit and Comfort
The boot features an engineered knitted collar that offers a responsive fit and easy foot entry. Once the game begins, the collar provides stability in the heel area. Additional padded zones in the collar and grip pods in the heel add an extra layer of security and comfort, ensuring the foot stays locked in place during play.
Limited Availability
Initially, only 24 pairs of the Medusae III Elite were intended to be released in each country. However, a wide variety of sizes available in the US suggests that the actual quantity may be higher—unless only one or two pairs are available per size.
