Venezia & NOCTA Redefine Goalkeeper Style With 25/26 Standalone Drop

Venezia FC and NOCTA have broken from tradition with a dedicated goalkeeper jersey release for the 2025/26 season. The standalone collection, presented under the “Home Ground” campaign, rejects the functional minimalism of modern keeper kits in favour of the bold visual experimentation that defined the 1990s. This is not a supporting act to the main outfield shirts — it is a main event in its own right.

Home Jersey: Gold Meets Midnight Sky

The 25/26 Goalkeeper Home Jersey reintroduces gold, echoing the third shirt from the 22/23 season. It features NOCTA’s signature star pattern — a subtle constellation inspired by the night sky above the Venetian lagoon. The luminous gold base is offset by a bold black “Venezia” wordmark, the club crest, and the NOCTA mark. Available only in long sleeves, the jersey comes in both lifestyle and match editions, with the latter carrying Cynar Spritz branding.

Away Jersey: Fuchsia Chaos as Urban Art

The 25/26 Goalkeeper Away Jersey takes an opposite approach — a fuchsia canvas layered with spray-textured graphics and abstract lion motifs. Designed to demand attention before a ball is kicked, this kit channels keeper wear as urban art. Like the home version, it is available only in long sleeves, with both lifestyle and match-ready editions.

Design Philosophy: Cultural Artefacts, Not Just Kit

Conceived by Diego Moscosoni and Ariel Mojetta, these two shirts reflect the core belief of the Venezia–NOCTA partnership: that football clothing can be a cultural artefact. Technical fabrics and performance fits are combined with symbolism, storytelling, and fearless design.

Campaign: Art and Football as One Language

At the centre of the campaign is legendary multimedia artist Fabrizio Plessi, a pioneer of video art and a key figure in Venice’s cultural landscape. Shot in front of one of his own works, Plessi embodies the idea of the jersey as canvas, the goalkeeper as performer, and the pitch as stage. He is joined by poet-painter Solange Smith and contemporary artists Carlo Braidotti, Red Longo, and Diana Hlushach, alongside lifelong supporters who ground the campaign in the terrace culture of the city. The message is clear: in Venice, art and football speak the same language.

On-Pitch Debut and Fixtures

The shirts will debut on 16 August in the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa clash against Mantova. They will then make their league bow on 24 August against Bari. The design intends to stand out — not just for its brightness, but because it revives the bold, attention-demanding spirit of goalkeeper kits from an earlier era.
